“The Cost and Commitment of Following Jesus” Jézus követése teljes elköteleződést igényel. Following Jesus means I must honestly examine what CONDITIONS I am placing above my commitment to Him, and surrender it regardless of the cost it costs me. Following Jesus requires complete trust. Following Jesus means his reign in every area of life. 

This Is Holy Ground Vajon amikor egyszer visszatekintünk az életünkre, Ábrahámhoz hasonlóan „élettel betelve” érkezem meg az út végére, vagy inkább Jákób szavai lesznek igazak ránk, hogy az életem „tele volt rossz napokkal”? Ma egy rövid mondatnál időzünk el a 2Mózes 3-ból, mert hiszem, hogy ebben egy fontos kulcs rejtőzik ahhoz, hogyan formálja Isten az embert egy beteljesedett élet felé. When we will look back at our lives one day, will we reach the end of our journey "full of years" or "satisfied with life" like Abraham or will our lives be better described by the words of Jacob who said his life was filled with evil days? Today we will reflect on a short sentence from Exodus chapter 3 because I believe it holds an important key to how God shapes a person in order for him to have a fulfilled life.

This would be HARD ➔ To leave a place where things are HAPPENING & to GO out into the desert, where nothing is happening (yet). And Philip doesn’t know WHY he is supposed to go. God didn’t give him a strategic PLAN. He is simply given this instruction. If you are OPEN to God’s divine appointments He will lead you to the one person he’s wanting to reach.

Do you feel that you’re not enough? Érezted már úgy, hogy valamihez egyszerűen kevés vagy? Hogy pontosan tudod, mit kellene tenned, de amikor magadra nézel, csak a hibáidat, a kudarcaidat és a korlátaidat látod? Mire hív Isten, amikor alkalmatlannak érezzük magunkat?  Have you ever felt that you’re simply not enough for something? That you know exactly what you should be doing, but when you look at yourself, all you see are your faults, your failures and your limitations? What is God calling us to do when we feel inadequate?

Don’t believe the ropes! Előfordul, hogy keresztényként is elbizonytalanodsz: vajon tényleg Istenhez tartozom? Tényleg új ember lettem? Tényleg minden bűnöm meg van bocsátva? Tényleg szabad vagyok a sötétség hatalmától? Mi van, ha ezekkel kapcsolatban olyan dolgokat hiszel el magadról, amelyek egyszerűen nem igazak? Even as a Christian, you may sometimes feel uncertain: do I really belong to God? Have I really become a new person? Have all my sins really been forgiven? Am I really free from the power of darkness? What if you believe things about yourself in this regard that are simply not true?

Where is God? Isten gyakran a háttérben munkálkodik, és bár az ő időzítése sokszor lassúnak tűnik számunkra, soha nem késik el, még akkor sem, ha nemzedékeknek kell várniuk ígéreteinek beteljesedésére. Mózes története arra tanít, hogy Isten terveit nem lehet emberi erővel, saját időzítéssel vagy saját eszközökkel megvalósítani, mert a valódi szabadítás egyedül Istentől jön. God often works behind the scenes, and although His timing often seems slow to us, He is never late, even if generations have to wait for His promises to be fulfilled. The story of Moses teaches us that God’s plans cannot be realised through human strength, our own timing or our own means, because true deliverance comes from God alone. When we feel that God is silent, let us remember that He sees our situation, hears our cry, and acts faithfully in His own perfect time.

Is Christ really enough, or is there always something else needed in addition to Him? In Colossians 2:9–10, Paul reminds us that the fullness of deity dwells in Jesus, and in Him we have been made complete - therefore, we need not seek in human philosophies, special experiences, or “extra” solutions what only He can give.

Every Path Leads to Jesus" - The Search for God and Freedom from Addiction Megszólíthatja Ábrahám történetével Isten akár név szerint Ábrahámot?
