Even as a Christian, you may sometimes feel uncertain: do I really belong to God? Have I really become a new person? Have all my sins really been forgiven? Am I really free from the power of darkness? What if you believe things about yourself in this regard that are simply not true?

Where is God? God often works behind the scenes, and although His timing often seems slow to us, He is never late, even if generations have to wait for His promises to be fulfilled. The story of Moses teaches us that God’s plans cannot be realised through human strength, our own timing or our own means, because true deliverance comes from God alone. When we feel that God is silent, let us remember that He sees our situation, hears our cry, and acts faithfully in His own perfect time.

In Colossians 2:9–10, Paul reminds us that the fullness of deity dwells in Jesus, and in Him we have been made complete - therefore, we need not seek in human philosophies, special experiences, or “extra” solutions what only He can give.

Paul reminds us: let us remain in Christ, for in Him is everything we need. True wisdom begins when we align our lives not with the changing ideas of the world, but with Jesus.

Who carries out God’s plan? Sokszor hajlamosak vagyunk azt gondolni, hogy Isten áldása a sikeres végeredményen múlik, pedig Isten elsősorban nem az eredményt, hanem a szívünket vizsgálja. Azt nézi, milyen motivációval, milyen lelkülettel és engedelmességgel tesszük azt, amire elhívott bennünket. We often tend to think that God’s blessing depends on a successful outcome, yet God examines not primarily the result, but our hearts. He looks at the motivation, the spirit, and the obedience with which we do what He has called us to do. If our hearts are in harmony with Him, then despite our weaknesses and shortcomings, He can work through us, and His blessing will remain with us. This idea runs throughout Exodus chapter 1, where God carries out His plan through the faithfulness of ordinary people.

Paul encourages us not to seek new experiences or special knowledge but to get rooted deeper and deeper into Jesus and remain in the simple yet all-transforming truth of the gospel.
