The Kingdom of God is like ... Isten országa egyszer majd tökéletes lesz. Most viszont a gyönyörű és borzasztó keveréke. Hiteles és hiteltelen emberek gyülekezete. Szegezd a tekinteted Jézusra, hogy ne légy frusztrált, csalódott, kiábrándult. The Kingdom of God will one day be perfect. For now, however, it is a mixture of the beautiful and the terrible. A gathering of both faithful and unfaithful people. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, so that you do not become frustrated, disappointed or disillusioned.

Nem lehet fontosabb a nemzeti hovatartozásod, a politikai nézeted, mint a kereszt. The reason we can be pure and accepted in God’s eyes is that Jesus did not get caught up in the first-century political strife between the Romans and Israel. Your allegiance and your political views cannot be more important than the cross.

In Him we live and move Vannak keresztyének, akik úgy gondolják, hogy "Oké, befogadtad Jézust, éled az életedet, azután egy nap majd a mennybe mész és vele leszel. És ez igaz. De Isten királysága nem egy távoli valami. Itt van, közel, a kezünk ügyében - mind térben, mind időben. There are Christians who think: "Well, you’ve accepted Jesus, now you live your life, and then some day you’ll go to heaven and be with Him. And that’s true. But the Kingdom of God isn’t something far away. It’s right here and now, it's at hand, both in space and in time.

Repent! Ne a viselkedésedet változtasd meg, hanem a gondolkodásodat! Ne magadra koncentrálj, hanem Jézusra nézz! Akkor meg fog változni az, ahogyan Istent látod, és az is, ahogyan az emberekre tekintesz. Don’t change your behaviour; change your way of thinking. Don’t focus on yourself but look to Jesus. Then the way you see God will change—and so will the way you see people.

The Kingdom of God is here, but not yet Isten országa nem úgy jön el, ahogy az ember kiszámítaná, hanem már itt van. Még nem teljesen, mert nem mindenki vallja azt, hogy Jézus Krisztus Úr és KIrály, de lesz majd egy nap. Az életedben Isten az Úr? Az életed minden területén Isten az Úr? Ki a te királyod? The Kingdom of God does not come in the way people might expect, but it is already here. Not yet in its fullness, because not everyone acknowledges that Jesus Christ is Lord and King, but it will come one day. Is God Lord in your life? Is God Lord in every area of your life? Who is your King?

“The Cost and Commitment of Following Jesus” Jézus követése teljes elköteleződést igényel. Following Jesus means I must honestly examine what CONDITIONS I am placing above my commitment to Him, and surrender it regardless of the cost it costs me. Following Jesus requires complete trust. Following Jesus means his reign in every area of life. 

This Is Holy Ground Vajon amikor egyszer visszatekintünk az életünkre, Ábrahámhoz hasonlóan „élettel betelve” érkezem meg az út végére, vagy inkább Jákób szavai lesznek igazak ránk, hogy az életem „tele volt rossz napokkal”? When we will look back at our lives one day, will we reach the end of our journey "full of years" or "satisfied with life" like Abraham or will our lives be better described by the words of Jacob who said his life was filled with evil days? Today we will reflect on a short sentence from Exodus chapter 3 because I believe it holds an important key to how God shapes a person in order for him to have a fulfilled life.

God didn’t give him a strategic PLAN. He is simply given this instruction. If you are OPEN to God’s divine appointments He will lead you to the one person he’s wanting to reach.
