GOLGOTA SUMMER WEEKS

We look forward to seeing you in Vajta for the Summer Weeks this summer too.

As every year, we’ll have wonderful teachings and worship sessions, and we'll also prepare a variety of sports, creative and entertaining activities for all age groups.

During the morning and evening Bible studies/programs, we provide childcare for infants and a children’s ministry for children ages 3 and up. The same Bible studies and programs will be offered both weeks.

Changes effective starting in 2026:

  • For hotel guests, the rates include lunch on the day of departure.
  • This year, there is no additional charge for using the air conditioning in the attic of the Maranatha and the upper floor of the apartments.
  • In the case of a partial booking, a no-show penalty will be charged for the remaining night(s), at a rate of 5,000 HUF per bed per night.

Registration is required for anyone who wishes to participate in any of the week’s events. The only exception is the baptism on Thursday.

Registration is only valid upon payment of the participation fee! We will email you the payment details after you have completed the registration form.

Information and comments on the application interface

  • On the new platform, everyone—every family member—must register individually; even children under 3 must be registered!
    We would like to ask families when answering the question "Who would you like to be in the same room with?" to write the same family member on the application forms.
  • After successful registration, the system will send you an automatic confirmation email containing the information you provided. If you do not receive the confirmation email, please contact us at nyarihetek@golgota.hu .
  • Meal Plan – A surcharge applies for meals that differ from the standard menu; the cost is:
    • For adults (ages 10 and up): 500 HUF per meal, 1,500 HUF per day, 7,500 HUF per week.
    • For children (ages 3–10): 300 HUF per meal, 900 HUF per day, 4,500 HUF per week.

  • Types of Accommodation
      • Castle (4-8 bed rooms with shared bathrooms).
        The system displays 3 different room types (4-, 6-, and 8-bed). We strive to accommodate everyone according to their requests, but we cannot guarantee that you will be assigned to a room with the exact number of beds you selected.
      • Maranatha room with 2 beds (with separate bathroom) - with double bed or 2 single beds
      • Maranatha room with 4 beds (with separate bathroom) - with bunk beds
      • Family room / Apartment (with shared kitchen, bathroom and living room)
  • Tent – For the “accommodation type,” select the “I do not need accommodation” option
  • Without accommodation
      • Air conditioning units have been installed in the Maranatha attic and on the upper level of the apartments. There are currently no air conditioning units in the castle or in the 4-bed Maranatha rooms. There will be no additional cost for using the air conditioning units in 2026.

    • ID Card: Everyone over the age of 14 must upload a photo of the back of their ID card or passport during registration. (All accommodations in Hungary are required to provide VIZA data; this will be deleted at the end of the event.)


    Participation fee

    • The table below lists the per-person participation fee for the entire week, broken down by accommodation type (from Sunday dinner through Friday lunch).
    • If you are unable to attend the entire week, you may also register for a partial stay. Full-time registrations take precedence over partial registrations.
      In this case, the participation fee will be calculated based on the number of nights spent there and the meals requested. If you have any questions about this, please write to us at nyarihetek@golgota.hu .

    Prices will be the same during the first and second weeks.

    • Under 3 years of age Participation is free, but meals can be ordered; registration is required for them as well.
    • The child rate applies to children who have turned 3 by the first day of camp but have not yet turned 10.
    • Full price: Ages 10 and up (ages 10–18 without IFA (400 HUF/night))

    * Prices include accommodation from Sunday dinner through Friday lunch, three standard meals a day, and the cost of the activities.

    * The child rate applies to children who have turned 3 by the first day of camp but have not yet turned 10.

    * The children’s rate applies to those who are at least 3 years old by the first day of camp but have not yet turned 10.

    Other costs:

    • Late data modification (from the second day prior to the conference start date): 2,500 HUF per data entry (including changes to the payment method).
    • Bed-making fee (Fee for making up and cleaning an additional bed at the guest’s specific request, instead of the bed reserved at the time of registration) 5,000 HUF/bed
    • Remote control replacement: 5.000 ft

    Cancellation conditions

    • Cancellation I.

    Within 2 days prior to the event. However, if you notify us in writing on the day before arrival that you do not wish to use the meal for the guest affected by the cancellation, we will charge the lower fee (as listed under Cancellation II)!

    • For adult guests (ages 10 and older): 15,500 HUF per person per night,
    • For children (ages 3–10): 9,600 HUF per person per night
    • Cancellation II.
      Between 10-2 days before the event. In this case, the meals of the guest affected by the cancellation will be immediately canceled and can no longer be used! However, the accommodation can be transferred and used freely.
      • For adult guests (ages 10 and older): 7,500 HUF per person per night
      • For children (ages 3–10): 4,000 HUF per person per night
    • If a cancellation is made at least 10 days before the event, the participant will not be charged
