THE MOST EXCITING PLACE ON SUNDAYS IS THE SUNDAY SCHOOL. WE WANT TO MAKE SURE THE PARENTS ARE ABLE TO FOCUS ON THE WORSHIP AND THE TEACHING, WHILE THEIR CHILDREN - TAKING THEIR AGE GROUP INTO ACCOUNT - ARE GETTING TO KNOW JESUS BETTER,.
IT IS OUR DESIRE THAT THEY WOULD ALWAYS COME TO THE SUNDAY SCHOOL WITH JOY AND ANTICIPATION IN THEIR HEARTS, AND THAT LOOKING BACK LATER THEY WOULD KNOW IN THEIR HEARTS THAT THE CHURCH IS A GOOD PLACE AND THAT THEY WOULD LONG TO BE IN THE PRESENCE OF GOD.
CHILDREN'S MINISTRY
SUNDAY during the 9 and 11 am services
AGE GROUP:
BABIES, PRESCHOOLERS, 1-4 GRADERS
BABIES from 4 months
(ground floor room next to the entrance)
The PRESCHOOLERS and 1-4 GRADERS gather in the
upper room, and after a joint
children's worship session, they go to
separate rooms.
PRESCHOOLERS (upstairs room by the stairs)
1-4 GRADERS (basement room by the bathrooms)
(5-8 GRADERS attend the YOUNG TEENS' YOUTH GROUP meetings)
In the children's ministry, we support the integration of new children, welcoming our new friends together in a discussion group each time. We have noise-protecting ear muffs for the more sensitive and we try to provide visual support for both younger and older children. Parents can support the settling-in period by being present.
During each group discussion, children can share their prayers, thanksgivings, difficulties and fears. These are blown into a huge prayer balloon and released, giving them to God.
After a big joint birthday sing-along, the current birthday boy or girl can choose a little surprise from the gift box. During the children's sessions, which are age-appropriate, we offer a short snack, a Bible story/teaching supported by games, exercises and crafts.
We desire to expand their knowledge, strengthen their relationship with Jesus, and that they would experience the love and wisdom of God through those who serve them.

The room is equipped with armchairs, a screen, a changing table, lounge chairs, a play mat, heating facilities, a private toilet and a soundproof door.
WE ARE GRATEFUL THAT THERE ARE DEDICATED TEACHERS AND HELPERS WHO INVEST THEIR TIME AND ENERGY IN TEACHING CHILDREN EVERY SUNDAY.
