THE REFUGE

We call it a Refuge because "God is our refuge and the source of all our strength! He is always a sure help in trouble!" (Psalm 46:1) He is like a refuge in the mountains for the wayfarer. "He covers all with His glorious presence, as a shady tent in sweltering heat, as a refuge in a devastating storm, as a shelter in pouring rain." (Isaiah 4:5-6) Moreover, we ourselves can become a refuge for one another: "...each one will be like a hiding place in a windstorm, a shelter in a thunderstorm, rivers in the desert, like the cool shade of a great rock on a heat-torn dry land." (Isaiah 32:2) This is what we want to experience as we worship together, talk about God's Word, share honest testimonies, listen to one another, pray for one another.

Theme of season 2024-25: The Book of Esther
What does Esther's life and the times in which she lived have to do with ours? What challenges did she face, how did she overcome her fears and how did the Lord lead her through them? What can we learn from the story and example of this extraordinary and courageous woman, who is so much like us, and how can we put it into practice in our own lives? These are the questions we will seek to answer as we study this book, full of beautiful and exciting twists and turns, with God hiding behind every moment in an unspoken way.
Feel free to join at a frequency that suits you, even just once in a while, and you may invite guests too.
