THE REFUGE

We call it a Refuge because "God is our refuge and the source of all our strength! He is always a sure help in trouble!" (Psalm 46:1) He is like a refuge in the mountains for the travelers. "He covers all with His glorious presence, as a shady tent in sweltering heat, as a refuge in a devastating storm, as a shelter in pouring rain." (Isaiah 4:5-6) Moreover, we ourselves can become a refuge for one another: "...each one will be like a hiding place in a windstorm, a shelter in a thunderstorm, rivers in the desert, like the cool shade of a great rock on a heat-torn dry land." (Isaiah 32:2) This is what we want to experience as we worship together, talk about God's Word, share honest testimonies, listen to one another, pray for one another.

LIVES OF WOMEN IN THE BIBLE: Why is it that when we read about the lives of women in the Bible, who lived in ancient times and lands far away from us, we feel their cares, pains and joys, and we long for the Lord to be at work in our lives too? At each meeting, we will journey, weep and laugh with them and with those of similar stories today, and as we learn from their successes and their failures, our eyes will be opened to the God who lovingly guides and shapes us too.
All topics are first discussed live and then repeated online the following week. Feel free to join us at a frequency that suits you, even only occasionally, and you can even invite guests.
