Taking God with me

Isten az, aki nem azt nézi, hogy mennyit tudsz, mennyire helyes a teológiád, milyen felekezettől vagy éppen, vagy mennyire van rendben az életed, hanem azt, hogy magaddal akarod-e vinni Istent az utadon. Naamán ezt akarta tenni, míg Géházi, Elizeusnak, Isten emberének a szolgálja, a saját érdekeit kereste, Isten nélkül. Két ellentétes szívet látunk, az egyik egy hálás szív, a másik pedig egy mohó. Mindegyikünknek megvan mindkettőre a választása.

God doesn’t look at what you know, how right your theology is, which denomination you belong to or if everything is all right in your life but He sees if you want to take Him along on your road. This is what Naaman wanted to do while Gehazi, the servant of Elisha, the man of God, was seeking his own interests without God. We see two hearts contrasted here: a thankful heart and a greedy heart. All of us can choose either one.
