Faith That Works

Becsapjuk magunkat, ha csak beszélünk a hitről és a kegyelemről és a szeretetről, de nincs mögötte valódi cselekedet. Nem csak beszélni kell a hitről, hanem hitben is kell járni. Nem csak áradozni kell a kegyelemről, hanem meg is kell élni különösen, amikor a bűnöm miatt kárhoztatva érzem magam. Magam is mások felé kegyelmet gyakorolni, megbocsájtani és megbocsájtást fogadni. Ne csak várd, hogy szeressenek, hanem te is szeress másokat.

We deceive ourselves if we only talk about faith, grace and love but there aren’t any true actions backing them up. We shouldn’t only talk about faith but walk by faith as well. We shouldn’t just say nice things about grace but we need to apply it too especially when we feel condemned because of our sin. I need to practice grace in relation to others as well – I need to forgive them and receive their forgiveness. Don’t just expect others to love you but you too love others.
