There are situations in life when we say that only a miracle could help. And there are situations when we don't understand why God doesn't help us when and the way we expect Him to. The incident Elisha and the company of prophets experienced can give us an old-new perspective that can lead us closer to the miracle that all other miracles point to.

We see two hearts contrasted here: a thankful heart and a greedy heart. All of us can choose either one.

He tries to work in everybody's life here on earth and people don't even take notice until the Holy Spirit shows them that it was the Lord. There is no hopeless case or hopeless life for Him. He is Almighty God above everything. He approaches people in such simple ways that sometimes we just can't believe that this is God's way. He wants to bring healing in your life!

No matter what situation you are in: married, divorced, single, widowed, remarried… God can work in your life and through you. Instead of thinking about how we would serve God if our situation were to change, let's serve God in the situation we are in, just as we are, doing what we can.
