We can follow the Lord, seek His face, try and do what He says, but if we form partnerships with people who are against the Lord it becomes very hard for the Lord to bless those areas of our lives.

The fear of God - part 1. "A Biblia sokat ír az istenfélelemről, de mégis keveset beszélünk róla. Ha mégis beszélünk, akkor pedig sokszor félreértjük. Vajon mit is jelent valójában az istenfélelem? The Bible writes a lot about the fear of God yet we seldom talk about it. When we do talk about it, we often misunderstand it. What does the fear of God actually mean? Do we have to be afraid of God? What can be so important that the Preacher at the end of Ecclesiastes says "Now all has been heard; here is the conclusion of the matter: Fear God.”

Cut to the heart Az szívek egyetlen igaz és teljes ismerője az Isten, ezért nagyon szükségünk van arra, hogy az Isten beleszóljon az életünkbe. Aháb királyt végig üldözte Isten kegyelme az életén át, de egy ponton Isten engedett az Aháb csalárd szívének kívánságainak, ami az életébe került. Isten vágya az, hogy az Ő igazsága az szíven találjon minket, ami az életet jelenti nekünk, és ne Aháb útján éljük az életünket. God is the only one who truly and completely knows the heart. This is why we need Him so much to speak into our lives. All through his life, king Achab was chased by the grace of God, but at one point God granted the desire of Achab's deceitful heart which cost him his life. God doesn't want us to live our lives like Achab but instead His desire for us is to be cut to the heart by His truth which means life for us.

Yet, the phrase 'running amok' describes his rule more than the word 'glorious'. Israel was further weakened under his reign. How should we do what pleases God with a right heart? His wife, Jesabel helps him with this transaction but it all leads to a tragedy. This evening we will learn a lot about what it's like when we don't know how to handle our human desires right.

Every way leads to God!? Mit gondolsz, minden út Istenhez vezet? Napjainkban is népszerű ez a nézet: "minden út Istenhez vezet, csak minden vallás, élet, máshogy jut el hozzá". A mondás igaz. A kérdés nem az, hogy megáll-e mindenki Isten előtt az utolsó napon, hanem az, hogy onnan hova kerül tovább. Do you think all roads lead to God? The view that says "All roads lead to God but every religion or life gets to Him differently" is popular even today. The saying is true. The question is not if everyone will end up standing before God on the last day but rather which place they will go to afterwards.

Hope renewed Nekünk, Isten embereinek a kiváltsága, hogy reménységgel élhetünk mindenkor. Ez a reménység erőt ad nekünk az élet minden időszakában. It is the privilege of us, God's people, that we can always have hope. This hope gives us strength in every season of our lives.

About worship Mit jelent a ‘dicsőítés’? Miért adunk rá időt rendszeresen minden alkalmon, amikor összejövünk? Mért épp zene? Ezekre és hasonló alapvető kérdésekre keressük a választ ezen a reggelen, hogy a közös Isten imádatunkban is megtörténhessen a felfrissülés. What does "worship" mean? Why do we regularly devote time to it each time we gather? Why music of all things? We are seeking to find answers to these and similar questions this morning, so that our worship of God together can get refreshed too.

Church - Offline Miért nem igazi gyüli az online gyülis részvétel? Mitől sokkal több áldás az, amikor fizikailag egy helyen jövünk össze? Mit tanít Isten jelenlétéről a Biblia? Why isn't taking part in an online church service a real church experience? What makes it a much greater blessing to gather physically at one place? What does the Bible teach about God's presence?

Christian ministry doesn't have to be connected to the church but rather it is a lifestyle that God calls every Christian to. Jesus demonstrates by a radical example what it is like to be in the service of God. This is both shocking and often difficult for us humans.
