The ways of the two kingdoms
Ma este tovább tanulmányozzuk a Királyok első könyvét, és a központban Ászá, júdai király időszaka lesz. Ebben az időszakban a déli királyság virágzott, és Istenhez visszatért a nép. Az Istennel való megújulás egyszerű, de hatékony útjáról sokat tanulhatunk Ászá királytól. Ezzel szemben sajnos be kell pillantanunk Észak-Izrael nehéz időszakába, ahol gonosz királyok és dinasztiák váltották egymást, versenyezve, hogy ki tud jobban lázadni Isten ellen.
This evening we continue to study 1 Kings with the rule of Asa, King of Judah in the focus. Judah, the southern kingdom was flourishing in this period and the people turned back to God. We can learn a lot about simple but effective ways of revival with God from King Asa. We also have to take a look at difficult times in Israel, the northern kingdom, where unfortunately evil kings and dynasties kept coming and going in an evil competiton of rebellion against God.
