We will talk a bit about Paul, the apostle, whose transformation gave us the Hungarian expression: 'Paul's turnaround'. What kind of a person did he change into? Worship, prayer, encouragement. A person in prison is writing all these things. How can someone be encouraging and filled with hope, while he is bound and in a forced situation from which there is no escape?

The Church in Ephesus Mielőtt belekezdenénk a levél tanulmányozásába, megnézzük az Efézusi gyülekezetet és a körülményeket amik közt léteztek. Mi lett velük Pál távozása után? Before we start studying the letter, we will look at the church in Ephesus and their circumstances. What happened to them after Paul had left? We can learn a lot of lessons concerning our Christian lives even from these facts. If we only know the words of Jesus but we don't know Him personally, we cannot make right judgments about the happenings in our lives.

In order for Christians to be able to give hope to the world and to show that there is hope, they must first have hope themselves and live as such. Where does a Christian find hope when it runs out?

God Is Generous! A karácsony üzenete, Isten nagylelkűsége. Az ember hitetlensége ellenére, kegyelemből, irgalommal, segítséget talált ki és segíteni akar. És megérkezett a segítség! The message of Christmas is God's generosity. Inspite of man's unbelief, God being gracious and merciful came up with a plan to help and He wants to help. And help has arrived!

God Doesn't Need to Be Defended A Bibliában, főleg az Ószövetségben első könyveiben nagyon sok olyan történet van, ami első ránézésre egy gonosz isten képét rajzolja ki. There are many stories in the Bible, especially in the first books of the Old Testament that draw a picture of an evil God at first glance. The Flood is one of the most divisive stories in the Bible with seemingly a cruel and vengeful God behind it. As Christians, we often feel a strong urge to try to "explain" these stories, and we kind of feel a need to defend God so that we could present Him in the best possible light before the nonbelievers… But God doesn't need to be defended by us. He is the Almighty Creator, the Lord of the World and His every action - even when we don't understand it - is permeated by His love and caring concern for people. In the following chapters we will see that even the Flood and the subsequent events are a testimony to God's grace.

Joseph - the Greatest Simpleton of History? There is a very serious relationship drama behind Mary's miraculous conception, so we will examine what happens when following God's plan causes serious difficulties in our lives.
